About our Pastor

James T. Ford, Jr. is a native of Como, NC. God has given him a heart of obedience, and a burning passion to preach and teach the Word of God with clarity. God has prepared him to lead Cedar Grove in this moment and time. The verse that defines his life and mission is that of Romans 1:16 .    

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

James has been serving Christ in ministry for the last 20 years. Through the grace of God, he has served as youth minister at the Berean Bible Baptist Church. He has lead Camping Ministry at the Triple "C" Bible Camp. He has organized community bible clubs. He has assisted with many youth ministries in northeastern NC. God has now planted him in Zuni, VA. It is His intentions to follow the lead of His Lord. This is Gods Story and He will write it as He sees fit. Come and follow the Lord with Pastor James T. Ford, Jr.
